Darryl L. King, DVM

Dr. Darryl King graduated from the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.   He joined the Companion Animal Hospital family in January 2007, and became owner in 2010.  Dr. King has a special interest in geriatric medicine, surgery, ultrasound and pain management.  "I strive to always treat every pet with the love and care I would give my own.  My pets are a very special part of my life, and I would not be who I am without them." 

         Amy S. King, DVM

Dr. Amy S. King graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She has been married to Dr. Darryl King since 2000. Dr. Amy joined the practice in 2010. Her special interests include preventive medicine, dermatology, and endocrinology. “I especially enjoy visiting with clients to find out more about their pet’s individual needs. There is no greater feeling than to make a positive difference in the lives of our patients and their families.”

      Jerry A. Truitt, DVM

 Dr. Jerry Truitt graduated from the Auburn College of Veterinary  Medicine in 1966, and has practiced in the Memphis area since 1969.  He opened Companion Animal Hospital, LLC of Collierville in March 2000 to fulfill the growing need for quality pet care in the community.  Dr. Truitt's special interests include internal medicine, orthopedic surgery and dermatology for dogs and cats.
